This page explains what the Dreams website and shop keep about you, and why. Questions, or a request to see, correct or delete what we have: allen@dreamsmusic.studio.

What we keep

  • The email list. If you sign up, we keep your email address, the page you signed up on, and the date. Every email we send the list has an unsubscribe link.
  • Orders. If you buy something, we keep your name, email address, delivery address (for a CD that ships), what you ordered, and whether it was paid, shipped or refunded.
  • Card details. Your card number is typed into Stripe’s payment form and goes straight to Stripe. It never reaches our website or our database.
  • Abuse protection. To stop one visitor flooding a form, we keep short records of recent requests to the sign-up and shop forms, tied to the visitor’s network address. We use them for nothing else.

Who handles it for us

  • Stripe takes payments. Its own privacy policy applies to your payment details.
  • Resend sends our emails, including order emails.
  • Supabase hosts our database, and Cloudflare hosts this website.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

On your device

  • Your cart is kept in your browser’s own storage so it is there when you come back. It never leaves your device until you check out.
  • Stripe’s payment form may set its own cookies to help prevent fraud.
  • The link to your order page contains a private code. Anyone who has the link can see that order, so please don’t share it.

How long we keep it

  • Order records are kept as long as we need them to run the shop, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting rules.
  • If you unsubscribe from the list, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so that we don’t email you again.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from the list at any time with the link in any email we send.
  • Ask us to show you, correct or delete what we have about you. We will do it, except for order records we must keep for accounting.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
